A lifelong resident of Philadelphia, Tom has been practicing law since the Phillies last won The World Series in 1980. He has been a member of the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association since 1985.
His twenty-five year legal career began defending physicians, hospitals, and asbestos companies at the request of insurance carriers while employed at the oldest law firm in the country.
In 1985, Tom changed sides to represent injured working claimants and received his first million dollar jury verdict in a medical malpractice death case. Since then, he has obtained substantial verdicts and settlements for seriously injured clients throughout Pennsylvania.
Representing seriously injured citizens in automobile, premises and product liability claims represents a large portion of the practice. In addition, Tom frequently accepts medical negligence claims referred by other attorneys who seek the most experienced representation for their own clients. Tom also represents worker's compensation clients, with a strong record in contested claims and substantial settlements often reached before a case ever comes to trial.
